your responsibilities.
You'll work hand in hand with our event directors on a range of mission-critical tasks, including:
End-to-end supplier management: own sourcing, negotiation and coordination
Speaker care: be the concierge support for our VIPs
Event admin: support our project deliver and project management
Travel & planning: source and manage travel arrangements
Account management support: join key meetings and help keep projects on track

A natural negotiator. You get a buzz from closing a good deal - and know when to push for more.
Organised. You're comfortable looking at a budget tracking and able to report reliably.
Efficient. You can multitask under pressure. Juggling many plates doesn't faze you.
Confident. You're a 'people person' and naturally engaging with clients (or working with our VIPs)
Project management. You know how to prioritise - and you have a 'sixth sense' for anticipating problems before they occur.
Calm. You thrive under pressure and adaptable. Change doesn't scare you.
Curious. You love learning new ideas - and naturally seek out new experiences.
the experience we’re looking for.
Proven background in events - ideally 3-5 years as an event planner (or a similar role)
Experience working within corporate companies - you understand how to 'stay human' while adapting to the different company cultures present within our clients
Background: Conferences, workshops and networking-led events.
Languages: Fluent English (Portuguese a plus!)
desired qualities (but not at all a deal-breaker if you don’t have...)
Exposure to marketing: you understand essential principles and you're comfortable writing copy
Graphic design fundamentals: you're able to make quick changes to templates on the fly
Previous experience working in pharma or healthcare.

This is a full time contract role with a salary of around 24,000 EUR
